FBLA-ML club at New Kent Middle School is helping to promote
America Saves Week from February 25
– March 1. The club is listed as 1 of
about 750 organizations nationwide coming together to promote good savings
behavior and motivating students to join as a Young America Saver On-line. The
theme this year for America Saves Week is “Set
a Goal. Make a Plan. Save Automatically.”
Announcements are being read daily to the entire student body, posters
are displayed throughout the building, and all of Mrs. Hogge’s Computer
Applications, Keyboarding Applications, and Computer Solutions students will be
educated about why saving for your future is important and encouraged to make
the pledge to save money for their future. Everyone is encouraged to make a commitment to
start saving money today. Start Small…Think Big!
