Congratulations to the team from New Kent High School for their victory in the Rappahannock Community College 2012 Math Contest! This is the second consecutive victory for NKHS in the contest, as the students from NKHS bested teams from 12 other public and private schools from around the region.
Team members Alyssa Bushhouse, Chris Rolince , Megan Turner are all students in Dr. Candice Barkley's dual-enrollment calculus class.
In addition another NKHS student, Michael Venter, was a member of the second-place team from the Chesapeake Bay Governor's School.
Congratulations to our students and to Dr. Barkley for a fine showing!
